... home to pristine wildlife habitats, ancient Oak trees, sweeping marsh vistas and winding rivers that occupy every view. The tides dictate much; the breeze, the catch, and direction to sail.
Catherine is a native of Coastal Georgia... growing up in McIntosh County taught her the importance of protecting the cultural and natural resources of where you live, work and play. Catherine obtained a marketing degree from Georgia Southern University and made her way back to the Coast as fast as she could! Being a Realtor has allowed Catherine to play a vital role in her community as an advocate for maintaining the integrity of a “small town” but at the same time enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors alike. She is a Board member for the McIntosh County Chamber of Commerce and also the Boys & Girls Club of McIntosh County. When she catches a break, you can usually find Catherine exploring the outdoors with her husband and their four children. She enjoys living the laid back Coastal lifestyle and takes a unique approach on real estate by “selling the outdoors first and then the house”!
Love where you live couldn’t be more of an accurate expression for Cat and her family. She grew up as a toddler coming to the coast in McIntosh staying in her then coastal home in Crescent, water skiing, shrimping, crabbing and boating to all the barrier islands and exploring the hammocks for unknown treasures. After bringing her now husband here while attending UGA for Spring Break, it was destined for them to eventually live in McIntosh and God willing they moved here in 2001 permanently. Cat and Dave raised three children who feel blessed to have been brought up in one of the most beautiful places that they know. Cat is further blessed by having her parents and in-laws also retiring here, as they too understood the many blessings the Coast of Georgia has to offer. Selling real estate in a place that she holds old and new memories comes natural to Cat …. She loves where she lives!
Megan and her husband David started vacationing from Atlanta to the Golden Isles over 10 years ago. Like many others, they fell in love with the slow pace and beautiful scenery. When the Covid crisis hit, Megan and David decided it was time for a change and bought a piece of property in North McIntosh to build their dream home! Since they are General Contractors by trade, that inspired Megan to pursue her real estate license to complement their business model. What was supposed to be their retirement plan, was quickly accelerated as they decided they wanted to be on the Coast more to enjoy life! Their two children also indulge in all of the outdoor activities and relish the freedom this Coastal area provides.
